We are delighted to announce that Arjun Appadurai and Gabika Bockaj have offered to make a significant financial contribution to the Forum on Contemporary Theory to ensure the quality and continuity of its programs. The grant will be made in April, 2013. We are grateful to Arjun and Gabika for this gracious and timely offer. As the grant from the Ford Foundation will come to an end in September 2013, this contribution will keep our activities going for some more years. This offer is a testimony of appreciation of the work we have been doing for higher education in India . We hope others will emulate Arjun and Gabika’s example.
